I take a lot of photographs. Some of my photos "talk" me into taking them and later painting them. Every once in a very blue moon I will paint someone elses pic. This fall I've done that 3 times, more than any other time in the last decade (2 for commissions). This painting is inspired by a photo from a friend from my Ossining, NY days who traveled thru Amish country and sent this scene to me. Thanks Linda, this was fun!
