Heading east just outside of Holmes County, Ohio on my way back to Buffalo, I saw a buggy with a tarp on the westbound side of Rt 62.
I glance at the baked goods speeding by when the Amish young lady (Caroline) waved. Almost instantly, I thought I'd buy a pie for the grands and ask if I could snap a few un-posed pix. Caroline had Fanny (a little girl she was watching for a neighbor) on her lap. Caroline held her sleeve in her palm so her wrist would not be exposed. Her brother John was in the front (now the back) of the buggy. I overpaid for a pecan pie and took a few pix. Then Caroline and Fanny decided to go pet the horse and pick some wild flowers. I stayed at the buggy chatting with John (who wouldn't put his straw hat on for me... that would be posing). When I glanced down the hill toward the girls and their horse I quickly snapped 2 pix. This is one of them.
